Gyurme Tsewang Tenpel (1889–1956), also known as Tersé Tulku, was one of the four sons of Chokgyur Lingpa’s daughter Könchok Paldrön. He was recognized as the rebirth of his mother’s brother, Tsewang Drakpa, the oldest son of Chogyur Lingpa. Thus he was known as Chokgyur Lingpa Tersé Tulku, ‘Emanation of the Treasure-revealer’s Son’. He was instrumental in the transmission of Chokgyur Lingpa’s termas to many of the last generation of lineage holders, such as the late Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, who was his nephew, and the late Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

Practitioners of the Chokling Tersar may frequently used the Tsok accumulation prayer composed by Tersé Tulku, Cloud-Banks of the Two Accumulations: A Feast Offering Including The Six Vajra Lines Prayer to Be Practiced with Any Guru Sādhana.
